ASPIRE program at UC Davis

During my undergraduate tenure, I sought out an opportunity to be involved in a research project as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota. This experience crystallized for me a passion for research and the pursuit of creating new knowledge. I now have the privilege to co-direct the ASPIRE program at UC Davis with Dr. Steve Luck. Together, we help create opportunities for highly motivated undergraduate students to gain meaningful, long-term research experience with a select faculty member of their choice.

Open science and reproducibility

Along with Julia Bottesini and Kailey Lawson, I co-organize the UC Davis ReproducibiliTea group. We meet weekly on Tuesdays at 3pm PST and discuss papers and do hands-on workshops related to issues in Open Science (e.g., pre-registration review, code review, teaching open science).
